Joy has had a variety of experiences over her career that influence her approach. She has developed custom software applications for small businesses and assisted Fortune 500 companies in designing and implementing change to their systems and processes. She has held roles in consumer marketing, telecommunications, and tourism. More recently, Joy shifted her sights to the non-profit world, earning her Master of Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University. She has assisted and led evaluation projects at large museums in the Washington, DC area. She founded Frame Visitor Insights, LLC in October 2023 in order to bring her unique perspective and skill set to the museum field.
